At Elle's Boutique, our customers' satisfaction is our number one priority. If you are not 100% satisfied with your purchase, we will do everything that we can to ensure it.

Merchandise Ineligible for Return

All merchandise purchased as a sale item, including items purchased during a sale event that are marked down 35% and over, are final sale and cannot be returned for exchange or store credit. Certain sale events may also be final sale.

  • All items in our "sale" collection
  • Items purchased during a sale event that are marked down 35% and over.
  • All Surprise Boxes are a final sale.
  • A friendly reminder that all holiday sale discounts: Black Friday, Cyber Monday, Boxing Day will be a final sale.

Ineligible merchandise also includes: worn items, face masks, earrings, swimsuits, undergarments (including bodysuits) and cosmetics due to hygienic concerns. Gift cards are final sale.

Regarding Items Bought In-Store

If you would like to return an item that was bought in-store for a full refund, please stop by the shop during our shop hours for your return to be processed. 

  • Original method of payment is required to provide a full refund
  • The returned item must be accompanied by the original receipt
  • If you cannot provide the original method of payment or the receipt, you will be given a store credit

Items must be unwashed, unworn and have their original tags attached. Footwear must be returned unworn and in the original box. The box must remain in perfect condition.

We reserve the right to refuse your return based on the condition of the merchandise.

Online Return for Full Refund

Regularly priced merchandise can be returned for a full refund within 60 days of receiving it. All merchandise must be returned with tags attached and items must be unworn, unwashed, and free from any stains or odours.

  • Footwear must be shipped back in original shoe box with lid, inside a polymailer or box
  • Do not tape your return label to the original shoe box, we will return to sender

Once we have verified the condition of the return, we will process the refund to your method of payment. Full refunds will be subjected to a $10 restocking fee

In the case that merchandise is returned in poor condition and without the tags, we reserve the right to refuse future returns. 

Store Credit

Regularly priced merchandise can be returned for a store credit. All merchandise must be returned with tags attached and items must be unworn, unwashed, and free from any stains or odours. 

  • Footwear must be shipped back in original shoe box with lid, inside a polymailer or box
  • Do not tape your return label to the original shoe box, we will return to sender

Once your return has been processed, you will receive an email containing a gift card with a code that can be used toward a future purchase. 

  • This gift card will be equal to the amount of the returned item, including sales tax.
  • These gift cards can be used online or in-store, and never expire.

If you choose to return for store credit, you will not be subjected to the $10 restocking fee.

Exchanges

If you've found that your item isn't quite the perfect size, you can exchange for a different size within 60 days of arrival.

  • If we are unable to make the exchange, you will have the option of returning for a full refund or store credit.

  • Do not tape your return label to the original shoe box, we will return to sender

All exchanges must be returned within 14 days of requesting the exchange. 

We do not allow exchanges made on a previously exchanged or Shop Now items.

  • If you would like to make an exchange for a new size on the same item from a previously exchanged order, please email us at heygirl@ellesboutique.ca.
  • We cannot make exchanges for a new item. Second exchanges will be subjected to a $10 flat rate shipping fee for us to ship out the new size. 

Shop Now

We also offer a "Shop Now" feature that encourages you to immediately use your store credit toward a new purchase!

  • You will receive a bonus credit of $10 for using this feature.
  • The bonus credit cannot be saved until later.
  • Our Sezzle program is not available through this feature, you must use a credit card as your method of payment.

This feature is essentially an exchange for a new item. The new item which you've ordered through this feature will not be sent out until we receive the original item back. 

  • Footwear must be shipped back in original shoe box with lid, inside a polymailer or box
  • Do not tape your return label to the original shoe box, we will return to sender

All "Shop Now" exchanges must be returned within 14 days of requesting the exchange. 

Shipping Label

We provide a return label through our portal. If your label expires, you will be responsible for shipping the item back to us at your own cost. We do recommend dropping your label off at your nearest post office as soon as possible.

Defective Item

In the unusual event you receive an incorrect shipment or defective item, please contact heygirl@ellesboutique.ca within 7 days of receiving the item. Please provide photos of the defects. Defects must be reported before items are worn and washed, merchandise that has been worn or washed will not be accepted. 

If you do not contact us about the defect within the 7 days, we will, unfortunately, be unable to help you. Please make sure to inspect your items and contact us within this timeline.
